A landmark birthday is to be celebrated this month by a Chessington party and events shop.
Bit of a Do will have its 21st anniversary on February 21, after a very successful two decades in Bridge Road.
Owner Sharon Tushingham said: “I started off with my dad 21 years ago and, bless him, he died last year.”
For its tenth anniversary the shop had a party in Surbiton; Sharon isn’t yet sure what she’ll do this year but wants to invite loyal customers.
Sharon said: “I have lived in Teddington and Epsom my whole life.
“We’re doing some customer’s weddings and they have been coming in here since they little.
“Some children that were coming in here then are now doing parties for their own children!”
Sharon said her business has a longstanding trustworthy reputation and “lots of repeat customers” use them for every big event, from weddings, to birthdays, to funerals and parties.
She added: “We have also done lots of corporate work, and stuff for local pubs and schools, over the years we have built up good relationships.”
Bit of a Do also sell gifts such as glasses, mugs, and photo frames – if you’re looking for Valentine’s inspiration.
