A Cheam-based charity has celebrated 20 years of helping children in Sri Lanka.
Child Aid Lanka was formed in 1998 to raise funds to help the forgotten and underprivileged children in the city of Colombo, Sri Lanka, many of whom had suffered abuse and were without the daily comforts that every child has the right to deserve.
The charity works to maintain fundraising with community organisations and other partners to keep donations coming to children most in need. Its projects include providing clean and sustainable sources of water for displaced and poorer families by installing wells.
