A man was taken to hospital last night (January 22) after being shot in Knight's Hill.
Police were called at about 8pm to reports of a shooting in Knight's Hill.
A police spokesman said that upon arrival "a 41-year-old man was found in Holderness Way suffering from a from a gun shot wound to his left buttock."
The man was taken to hospital by the London Ambulance Service.
Although he remains in hospital, his injuries are being described as non life-threatening.
Officers from the Met's Trident and Area Command are investigating.
No arrests have been made and enquiries continue.
