A man is fighting for his life after being taken by air ambulance to hospital after a serious crash on the M25 near Cobham.
The crash happened at about 12.20pm on Monday, January 8, and involved a lorry and a Vauxhall Astra.
All emergency services attended, and the 66-year-old man had to be cut from his car before being taken to St George's Hospital in Tooting with stomach injuries.
The road was closed for about an hour, with the situation worsened by a vehicle breaking down in the resulting queue.
Traffic remains heavy in the area.
Police want to speak to anyone who saw the crash, especially anyone with dashcam footage.
