Merton Manor Social Club is on the market with an asking price of £3million.

The period building in Kingston Road is on a plot totalling approximately 1,405 square metres, part of which is a disused bowling green.

CSJ Property Agents is in charge of marketing the building, it is believed to have closed around two years ago.

Originally a member’s-only club, the venue was open to the general public and also hosted gigs.

Wimbledon Guardian has not been able to establish who currently owns the building.

CSJ said potential exists for the re-development of the property which could create a full residential or mixed use scheme.

Director for CSJ Property Agents Chris Jones said: “The property as anticipated proves to be extremely popular and whilst some fantastic offers have been received I am unable to disclose the amounts at this time.”

The deadlines for bids was October 12, 2017.
