A £10,000 reward has been put up to help catch the killers responsible for the fatal stabbing of a man near Wandsworth Common earlier this year.

Abdullah Hamima, 24, was knifed in the heart after becoming embroiled in a heated argument with a group of other men at approximately 7pm on April 25.

He was a passenger in a grey Hyundai car with two other men, before his vehicle stopped in Melody Road near the junction with Quarry Road.

Crimestoppers is offering the cash in hopes of information which leads to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for Mr Hamima’s murder.

He was one of three people fatally wounded in Wandsworth this year, alongside 17-year-old Mahamad Hassan and 21-year-old Malachi Brooks.

Dave Hunter, head of operations at Crimestoppers, said: “The murder of Abdullah Hamima has left his family shocked and devastated.

“We still urgently need to help investigators with the final piece of vital information so that those responsible for his murder face justice.

“We are giving people the power to speak up to stop crime. We won’t ask your name and we won’t judge.

“We’ll just listen to what you know.”
