Toy Store The Entertainer is moving home from Kingston Market Square and setting up shop in the Bentall Centre this weekend.
On the opening day, Saturday 16, there will be character appearances by Princess Melina from Bush Baby World from 10am to 4pm as well as the store’s mascot Jack.
Throughout Saturday there will be a K’nex display, in-store competitions, balloons and gift with purchases for families to enjoy.
On top of this, to celebrate the new store, there will be a grand opening party on Saturday, January 27, with visits from Lego Batman and Robin.
There will also be a balloon modeller, face painter, in store demos, competitions and £250 of free gift cards for the first 20 families to visit the store from 9am, ranging from £5 - £100.
Laura O’Neill, store manager at The Entertainer in Bentall Centre, Kingston, added: “We are really excited for the new store to open in Kingston and in January, we’ll be hosting one of our famous grand opening events where visitors will be able to meet some of our favourite life-sized characters and have their picture taken.”
The current store on Thames Street will be closing in January.
