Two men have been arrested after a crash involving four cars in Staines on Saturday afternoon left one person dead.
A woman in her 80s died at the scene on the A308 Kingston Road in Ashford. She was the passenger of a Skoda Fabia.
A 32-year-old man from Hersham and a 33-year-old man from Seaford were arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and for driving over the prescribed limit for drugs.
The driver of another car, a blue Subaru Impreza, was hospitalised with a serious but non-life threatening injury.
Those inside the grey Subaru Impreza and a black Suzuki Vitara did not suffer injuries.
