A new Metro bank is opening in Clapham next month.
The seven-day-a-week branch is hosting a two-day welcome party for people in the community, with stilt walkers, free face painting, manicures and a DJ playing a number of sets.
The new Metro will be coming to Clapham High Street on Friday, December 8 and will become its second in the area.
Craig Donaldson, chief executive at Metro Bank, said: “Just over a year ago, we brought the banking revolution to Clapham Junction, and after receiving such a warm welcome from the local community, we’re opening a second store on Clapham High Street.
“We can’t wait to support local residents and businesses, who will now benefit from having two prime locations on their doorstep, and stores that are open when they need it, with on-the-spot card printing and free coin counting services for customers and non-customers alike.
“Most importantly they’ll now have a bank that’s there for them.
“The new store will act as a real hub for the local community, as businesses will be able to use in-store meeting rooms for free and residents will enjoy hundreds of networking and charity events hosted in their store.”
