Sutton commemorated Armistice Day and Remembrance Sunday by placing ‘silent’ soldier silhouettes across the borough.
This was to recognise the sacrifice soldiers who lost their lives in the First World War made.
‘Silent’ soldiers were placed in up to 50 locations across buildings, parks, gardens and roundabouts in Sutton.
A Remembrance Day service was held at City Hall in London on Friday (November 10) and was attended by the Mayor of Sutton, Jean Crossby.
Trinity Square on Sutton High Street hosted a Civic Act of Remembrance on Saturday (November 11).
On Sunday (November 12) a Civic Act of Remembrance took place at Manor Park in Sutton before a church service at St Nicholas Church.
