A Croydon man has been arrested on suspicion of murdering a teenager in Thornton Heath.
The 21-year-old was taken into custody yesterday (October 31) in connection with the death of 15-year-old Jermaine Goupall.
This is the sixth arrest in the case, with four people having already been charged with murder.
On August 8, police were called to Georgia Road, Thornton Heath to reports that a teenager had been stabbed.
Jermaine was pronounced dead at the scene shortly before midnight.
A 16-year-old boy, a 17-year-old boy, Saskia Haye-Elliot, 18, of Northdowns Crescent, New Addington, and Daniel Luke, 18, of Donald Road, Croydon, have already been charged and appeared at the Old Bailey today (November 1) where they spoke only to confirm their names and enter not guilty pleas.
A trial date has been set at the Old Bailey for January 8 for the four.
A 16-year-old boy who was arrested has been released with no further action.
