Battersea Power Station is hosting a range of activities ahead of the Battersea Park fireworks display this weekend.

Children’s entertainers Sharky and George will be putting on a number of games for over-fours, plus themed events.

Two are planned, with the first including traditional apple bobbing from 9.30am to 10.30am and the second involving a team race to build the best Guy for Guy Fawkes Night from 11am to 12 noon.

Sharky and George will continue the events every Saturday morning at Battersea Power Station all throughout November.

The Monski Mouse, with her Mouse Dancers, will be hosting a retro baby disco dance hall for parents, carers and under-five children, which will also include a soft furnishing area for non-walkers to roll around in and face painting sessions from Eco Glitter.

Mother, an Italian pizza restaurant from Copenhagen, neighbourhood bar and restaurant No 29 Power Station West and The Battersea General Store will be serving food and drinks all day.

Ben’s Canteen, who specialise in burgers, wine and brunch, will be hosting a pop-up site with food and is set to open next year.

Meanwhile, several creative brands and designer-maker businesses curated by 401 ½ Studios will be showcasing their wares underneath Grosvenor Arch at the entrance to Battersea Power Station from 12 noon to 8pm.

The Village Hall will also be hosting a DJ and dancing into the early hours, fearing ‘Powerful Sounds with Ultimate Power’.

Rob Tincknell, chief executive, Battersea Power Station: “This is a great day out for all the family. We have events at Battersea Power Station for the children with our restaurants open all day for everyone and then, in the evening, the restaurants will be waiting to warm everyone up along with a great party in The Village Hall - there is plenty to do both before and after the fireworks in the park.”

The event will be held on Saturday, November 4.
