‘Question Time’ meetings between councillors and residents are popping up across villages in the Richmond borough over the next few weeks.
Community members will be able to directly quiz the leader Councillor Paul Hodgins and other cabinet members about plans for their local area.
The start of each event will be an opportunity to meet councillors, followed by a short presentation from the Village Planning panel and then the ‘Question Time’ itself will start.
Details for the first four events are below; there are still dates in other villages to be announced:
Mortlake- Tuesday 31 October, 6 to 9pm, St Mary's Church
Whitton and Heathfield- Wednesday November 1, 6 to 9pm, Whitton Community Association
Ham and Petersham- Tuesday November 21, 6 to 9pm, Grey Court School
Kew- Thursday November 30, 6 to 9pm, St Winefrides Church Hall
The council is asking residents to submit questions in advance which will be covered in the first 45 minutes, the second hour will be open to the floor.
Go to richmond.gov.uk/village_plan_events to submit questions and expect an email one week before the event in confirmation that it will be put forward.
The event will also be streamed live on the council’s Facebook page and you can tweet your questions from your sofa on the night at @LBRUT on Twitter using #VillageQT.
