A marketing agency in Sutton has been shortlisted for a national business award.

Nutcracker Agency, based at Chancery House, has been selected along with nine other companies for Lloyds Bank's ‘New Business of the Year’.

Speaking about the nomination, managing director of Nutcracker Agency, Jenny Knighting, said: “We are all incredibly excited to be shortlisted.

“We are a very close team and to make the shortlist with such amazing businesses makes us all very proud of what we have achieved together.”

Nutcracker, which was founded in 2014, specialises in content, social media, digital marketing and lead generation. They were named as Sutton's best new business of 2016.

Group brand director of the Lloyds Bank business awards, Tom Broughton, said: “Given the economic uncertainty over the past year, it is inspiring more than ever to see British businesses prosper.

“Through a thorough and comprehensive judging process, this year’s selected finalists demonstrate exceptional quality and diversity across a range of business sectors within the UK.

“We are now looking forward to the next step of the process and meeting some of the finalist’s face-to-face.”

A ceremony will be held next month (November 14) at the Grosvenor House Hotel in Park Lane where the winners will be announced.
