M3 near Sunbury
An investigation has been launched after two vehicles crashed near Sunbury on Friday, October 27.
The incident happened on the M3 southbound between J1 and J2 for Sunbury just after midnight.
A spokesman for Surrey Police said: “A man who was driving a blue Range Rover Sport was taken to St George's Hospital by ambulance with serious injuries.
“The road was closed as officers carried out their investigation.”
Lanes were reopened at about 6.30am on Saturday morning.
Surrey Police is appealing for witnesses, so if anyone was driving southbound at that time on Friday, please call the Serious Collision Investigation Unit on 01483639922 with the reference P17270990.
