A Halloween night walk that will unveil Ewell’s dark history and "disturbing" tales is coming this October 30.
The tour around the village will end with a visit to Ewell’s historic jail and a chance to find out first-hand what an 18th century prison was like.
Walkers will also learn about ghosts, alleged witches, body-less funerals, tragic coach crashes, exploding gunpowder mills, and a vicar who pulled down his own church.
The tour will tread in the footsteps of the body snatchers, where they plied their grisly trade, and the graveyard of St Mary’s where their victims still lie.
