Fox discovered in Mellows Park
The body of a decapitated fox was discovered in a park in Wallington last week.
South Norwood Animal Rescue and Liberty (SNARL) reported on October 19 that a fox was found adjacent to a children's play area in Mellows Park.
A SNARL statement read: "The fox had been decapitated and this incident is being linked to the Operation Takahe series."
Operation Takahe is the Metropolitan Police investigation of the 'Croydon Cat Killer' who is rumoured to have killed over 200 cats and foxes.
