A primary school in Carshalton has sent children home after an outbreak of a winter vomiting bug.
Tweedale Primary School will be closed until Tuesday, October 17, because of the Norovirus.
A statement read: "Due to an outbreak of Norovirus the school will be closed on Friday and Monday. We will return to school on Tuesday at 8.45am."
A spokesman from Greenshaw Learning Trust told Sutton Guardian: "Children and staff have shown systoms which could be a Norovirus.
"We have decided to act promptly and responsibly in taking this action to close the school.
"We are arranging a deep clean of the school on Sunday or Monday."
