An organisation determined to prevent crime in Battersea and Balham is celebrating 25 years in the borough.
The Battersea Crime Prevention Panel is hosting its 25th annual Battersea Ball, a fundraising event with a live and silent auction, casino table, dodgems, the ‘Famous Magic Tree’, and a chance to win £500.
All funds raised will go into funding crime prevention and reduction initiatives.
BCPP says more than 20,000 tickets and over £1 million has been raised in the last quarter century as it aims to continue working with Wandsworth Council, police and both youth and community groups.
All funds raised will go into funding crime prevention and reduction initiatives.
Tickets include pre-drink canapés, a three-course dinner, coffee and chocolates, with a cabaret and dancing included as well.
The ball will be held on November 25 at The Evolution in Battersea Park, near to its children’s zoo, at 6.30pm.
