A Morden breast cancer survivor is urging people to wear Pink in support of Breast Cancer Now research kicking of this month.

Caroline Worley, 49, is calling on people to join her in raising money and ditching their everyday clothes for ‘pink’ on Friday, October 20.

She said: “Anyone can take part in wear it pink, whether you do it at home, work, or at school. It’s such a fun day and taking part is an easy way to raise money for Breast Cancer Now’s life-saving research.”

Caroline knows from personal experience into the importance of research into this deadly disease having been diagnosed with breast cancer herself.

She said: “Being diagnosed with cancer does change your life, but it’s not all negative. I’ve now hold annual wear it pink events and have become passionate about encouraging people to check themselves for breast cancer.”

Breast Cancer Now is the UK’s largest breast cancer charity that launched in June 2015 with their ambition being that by 2050 everyone who develops breast cancer will live.
