A line-up of talented comedians with personal experiences of mental health issues are raising money for charity in Tooting next month.

Stand-up acts including Mock the Week’s Dave Chawner, Darren Harriott from Russell Howard’s Stand Up Central and ‘Best Newcomer 2017’ nominee at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards as they join together Seriously Funny comedy night.

Bethany Black from the BBC’s Doctor Who and Channel 4’s Banana and Cucumber rounds off the line-up with John Smith of Beautiful BSL.

Raising funds for South West London and St George’s Trust Charity during Mental Health month in October, the event will be in the St George’s Medical School Bar at the hospital, in the second floor Hunter Wing.

Doors open at 7pm and will run from 7.30pm to 10pm, with British sign language interpreters present on the night to interpret the event.
