Today could be the day you decide to do something great and to make a really positive difference to someone’s life.

Foster children across Bromley are in need of a loving home, and it could be you they are looking for.

Being a foster carer means providing a family for a baby, child or young person whose family can no longer look after them.

There are different types of foster care - some are for short periods of just a few days and others can be for longer periods until the child or young person reaches adulthood.

Bromley has a diverse group of children who need foster care and we welcome foster carers from a wide variety of backgrounds.

Bromley Council wants the very best for its children and young people - and it is looking for people just like you to help us.

Fostering is immensely rewarding for both foster carers and children. When these vulnerable children experience a caring family and can at last thrive and develop their potential in loving and nurturing home it can really give them an amazing start to their life.

Of course, there can be challenges as well but the training and support from you will receive from the council’s fostering service will allow you to overcome these.
