Croydon Council is in charge of the second most amount of lone asylum-seeking children in England.
This comes after it was revealed the amount of those asylum-seekers in care of councils around England has more than doubled in three years.
Kent topped the list with 485 with Croydon right behind 390.
Both numbers were a decrease on the previous year though after a national transfer scheme was introduced.
Official statistics show local authorities were looking after 4,560 unaccompanied minors at the end of March 2017.
The figure was up by 6 per cent year-on-year and 121 per cent on 2014, when it stood at 2,060.
A report from the Department for Education said: "After a large rise in numbers last year, the number of looked after children who were unaccompanied asylum-seeking children continues to increase in 2017."
