A woman has been arrested after an attempted break-in at Prince George's school.
Police say an individual gained access to Thomas' Battersea School in Battersea High Street yesterday (September 12).
This afternoon, a 40-year-old woman was arrested in the vicinity of the school on suspicion of attempted burglary and taken to a police station in south London where she is being held.
Police officers were alerted and attended immediately after the incident came to light, a Met spokesman said, and are working with the school - which welcomed Royal tot George as a pupil last week - to review its security arrangements.
The Met spokesman added: "Police are part of the protective security arrangements for the Prince and we will continue to work closely with the school, which is responsible for its building security on its site.”
