A Kingston police officer has been found not guilty of assault following a two-day trial.
PC David Guest remains on restricted duties as the Metropolitan Police begins its misconduct process.
The trial was held at City of London Magistrates’ Court, ending on Tuesday, September 12, f .
In April, PC Guest was served with a requisition to appear in court for the charge of assault by beating, following a Met investigation into an arrest he made in Kingston in October 2016.
