Residents will soon have the opportunity to have afternoon tea and a stroll through the newly redeveloped Woodland Walk at Strawberry Hill House with celebrity gardener Alan Titchmarsh.
A spokesperson for Strawberry Hill House said: “We’re delighted that Alan Titchmarsh will be joining us to open our newly redeveloped Woodland Walk and for a short stroll through our enchanting garden, recently restored to its 18th Century heyday.
“You will enjoy music from Manontroppo Clarinet Quartet, followed by an 18th century-style Tea Garden.”
The event, organised in partnership with Fortnum & Mason, costs £50 and includes an afternoon with Alan Titchmarsh, Fortnum & Mason Royal Blend Tea, finger sandwiches, cakes, sparkling wine and Fortnum’s gift bag.
All funds raised will go to the ongoing care and maintenance of the House and Garden.
The afternoon will take place from 2pm to 4.30pm on Friday, September 22.
