Teddington Memorial Hospital are hosting its first Community event for the public to attend next month.

The Health fair and family fun day at the hospital, on Hampton road, will feature a wide range of health information, activities and entertainment for all the family, on September 9.

Set up by Hounslow and Richmond Community Healthcare NHS trust and local organisation, the free event will feature health checks and advice, information about local health services, children’s activities, London Farmers’ Market food stalls and much more.

Stephen Swords, chairman of HRCH NHS Trust said: “We are proud to launch our first ever community health fair at Teddington Memorial Hospital – which promises to be a fun day out for all the family.

“It’s a great opportunity for the community to get to know their local NHS trust, meet staff and get health advice, or find out about the range of community health services on your doorstep.

Visitors can get health check-ups and advice on their lifestyle from experts and there will be stalls to find out more about volunteer opportunities or find out about local charities.

Children will have a diverse range of activities to enjoy from getting their face painted and having a go on the bouncy castle to heading to the teddy bear clinic.

“There will be something for everyone, so why not come along and make a day of it - grab a bite to eat and enjoy the range of activities and entertainment on offer," added the chairman.

“We hope to see you there”.
