A music academy has launched a scholarship worth up to £27,000 across all its campuses, including Clapham.

The winner will graduate completely free from tuition fee debt.

In partnership with Music Gateway, the Academy of Contemporary Music (ACM) has announced the new music production scholarship and asks students holding offers for study to complete a video application to apply for the award.

Executive chairman of ACM Kainne Clements said: “We’re privileged to work with Music Gateway on this enabling opportunity for our audio production students, especially since we believe that our blend of industry education should be accessible to everybody who is committed to a career in music.

“We’re all very much looking forward to reviewing the scholarship entries and awarding the scholarship to the lucky recipient this September.”

It follows after ACM and Music Gateway collaborated to provide students with access to employment, with six Music Gateway team members being ACM graduates.

Chief executive and founder of Music Gateway John Skinner said: “We are very pleased to be joining forces with ACM to bring this scholarship to life.

“We absolutely love everything ACM has to offer its students and we cannot wait to provide this opportunity for the right student willing to prove themselves in this very challenging industry.

“It is with this that we hope to empower the next generation of creatives and kick-start an eager student’s career with such amazing financial support.”
