The second UK store of Typo, the international stationery retailer, is to open at the Bentall Centre in Kingston on August 18.

They sell quirky stationery and gifts, including travel and technology accessories, bags, lighting and décor items and novelty products, all designed by the company’s in-house team.

The new Kingston store will be the latest in their 200-store portfolio that covers 13 countries.

Brand manager Sally Howard said: “We’re thrilled to be expanding our UK footprint. Since the opening of our Stratford store in December last year, we’ve seen great traction both online and in store, with sales soaring beyond all expectations.

“The customers have really embraced all things Typo and we are looking forward to meeting their demands with a new store in Kingston.”

There are more additions and store expansions to be announced in the coming months, as the Bentall Centre continues its revitalisation project marking its 25-year history.

Sam Eastwood, centre director, said: “Typo is the perfect partnership for the Bentall Centre. With a wide collection of gifts, stationery, arts and crafts, cards and decorations, we’re confident there will be something on offer for all our shoppers.

“We are thrilled that Typo chose the Bentall Centre Kingston as their next location as part of their global expansion plans and we look forward to welcoming them to the centre.”
