A 91-year-old man who police have described as ‘vulnerable’ has gone missing from his home in Cobham last night (Sunday, July 30).
Basil Bushell was last seen around 9.30pm at his home in Portsmouth Road.
He was due to meet his daughter for lunch today but did not show up, and his family have become concerned at this “extremely out of character” behaviour.
Mr Bushell is described as white, around 5ft 11 and of a thin build with short, dark hair.
He was wearing a short-sleeved yellow shirt and beige trousers, and is not believed to be carrying any cash, cards or his mobile phone.
Surrey Police is focusing search efforts on the wooded area near the ACS Cobham International School.
Anyone with information about Mr Bushell’s whereabouts is asked to contact Surrey Police on 101, quoting reference P17193081.
