Orla Ingram to represent England at 2017 Lacrosse World Cup
A year 13 pupil at Coloma Convent Girls’ School in Croydon has been selected to represent England at the 2017 Lacrosse World Cup this summer.
Orla Ingram will make up part of the under 19 squad who will face off against teams from USA, Japan, New Zealand and Germany in the bid to be crowned world champions.
Orla is currently an outgoing Games Captain at Coloma School.
A spokesperson for the school said: "Orla is a true role model to her peers and the younger students.
"It is fantastic that a pupil from a Croydon school will be playing for our country and we wish her lots of luck in the World Cup this summer."
