With fly-tipping and trolley dumping a seemingly growing issue, Croydon Council want to know who residents think should be responsible for the latter.
Council recently put out a poll on its website asking residents to vote on who should take responsibility for trolley dumping.
The poll question said "the council and residents want supermarkets to take action about shoppers that dump their trolleys after visiting. Do you think supermarkets should be fined for each abandoned trolley that’s found"?
At the time of publishing, 123 people have voted with a 51 per cent vote for yes and 48 per cent vote for no (with a one per cent margin).
What do you think of the issue? Let us know in our poll?
