A man from Mitcham charged with possessing a taser, CS spray and cocaine has appeared in court.
Heston Adolphe, of London Road, appeared in Wimbledon Magistrates' Court on July 19. The 38-year-old is charged with possessing the firearm and disguising it as another object, and possessing CS spray - a weapon designed or adapted for the discharge of gas.
CS spray is used routinely by the British police to deal with violent incidents, but it is prohibited for use by the general public.
Adolphe is also charged with possessing cocaine.
He will next appear at Kingston Crown Court on August 15.
