A 71-year-old man who was stabbed in the cheek in an apparently unprovoked attack is in a stable condition.
Police were called to Blackhorse Lane, Croydon at 10.19am on Tuesday, July 18 after they were called about the stabbing.
The victim was taken to Croydon University Hospital where he remains in a stable condition.
The suspect is described as a black man, possibly aged between 20 and 40 years who had been riding a pedal cycle.
