The Feel Good Festival is returning to Roehampton with an array of live music, food, sports, local history and chickens to check out.

If you are wondering about the chickens, Roehampton Students Union’s Growhampton initiative will bring along their free range chickens to help illustrate food sustainability.

The Roehampton Club will provide tennis-themed activities, along with “football fun” from Chelsea FC’s Kicks programme.

Visitors will be able to meet Redrow Homes, the council’s partner for the regeneration of Roehampton’s Alton estate, and find out more about how to get involved in forthcoming public consultations on design and other matters.

Older people from the area will be served cream tea in a marquee, while Wandsworth University of the 3rd Age (U3A) will stage an exhibition exploring Roehampton’s contribution to the First World War and the stories of the 51 local residents fought in it.

The event will take place at Danebury Avenue Green on Saturday afternoon, July 29 and volunteers are welcome to assist in setting up, hospitality, stewarding and clearing away afterwards.
