Police have released CCTV images of a man wanted in connection with allegations of indecent behaviour on board a train.

The incident occurred on board a Southern service between Balham and West Croydon on Friday, May 5.

The victim had boarded the service at Balham station and sat on a seat next to a window and, 15 minutes later, a man joined the service and sat facing towards them.

As the train continued towards West Croydon, the man stared began to stare at the victim, putting his hand inside his jeans and touch himself inappropriately.

The victim then challenged the man and took a photo of him, with the man departing from the train at West Croydon.

Detectives from the British Transport Police’s Sexual Offences Unit have now released an image of the man who they wish to speak to as he may have information which could assist in the investigation.
