House on fire in Putney
Half the loft conversion of a semi-detached house in Putney was damaged by a fire this morning.
Police, four fire engines and 21 firefighters were called at 9.47am to deal with the blaze in Luttrell Avenue, which they had under control at 10.32am.
The road is closed in both directions between Howard's Lane and Hazlewell Road/ St Margaret's Crescent.

Fire crews from Wandsworth, Richmond, Hammersmith and Wimbledon fire stations are at the scene.
