Girl band Little Mix brought their Summer Shout Out show to the home of Harlequins rugby, the Twickenham Stoop this weekend. Here's 9 things you need to know about the performance.

1. A lot of Little Mix fans or 'Mixers' are pretty small.

The group has a huge following of young fans, some as young as four enjoyed the concert from the comfort of their dad's shoulders.

2. ...and saying that, some of the Mixers dads were among the most patient we've seen.

They didn't always look happy, but they did wait out the whole concert. Some of them knew all the lyrics too, suggesting the albums may have been played a few too many times in the car on the way over.

The girls put the drama of Saturday's Newmarket Racetrack, which reportedly ended with with children in floods of tears, behind them. The atmosphere at Twickenham was great and very much a family affair, with everyone enjoying the mild weather and catchy tunes.

Despite winning a singing contest, the girls showcased perfect timing and delivery in all dance routines - bravely mimicked by many in the crowd.

Despite being criticised by parents and fellow pop stars over their racy stage costumes in the past, and recently telling critics to "sod off", the pop quartet delivered the concert in usual electrifying style.

Towards the end of the set, the girls tested Twickenham with lyrics from first album DNA to rousing success. It proved how far the band has come with word-perfect performances from the crowd of the band's first singles.
