United Against Extremism will hold a ‘solidarity peace march’ this Saturday (July 1) on Sutton High Street from 10.30am – 12pm.
Citizens, community and civic leaders will attend the demonstration in a “united voice against all forms of Extremism in Britain”.
Peace marchers will gather outside ASDA for 10.30am with the walk commencing at 11am.
At 11.30am a minutes silence will be held at Trinity Square followed by presentations.
The event will conclude with the laying of flowers in the square.
2017 has been plagued with extremist tragedies such as the Westminster Bridge attack in March, the Manchester concert attack in May and this month’s London Bridge and Finsbury Park mosque attacks.
