Posters designed by pupils to encourage people to keep the borough’s streets clean and green, are to grace the sides of Croydon’s super-capacity, solar-powered Bigbelly bins.
At Croydon Council's cabinet meeting this week, the winners of the council’s poster competition, run as part of the council’s Don’t Mess With Croydon (DMWC) clean streets campaign, were announced.
At the meeting Cllr Collins presented the four winning designs (attached) from Chloe Okonne, a year 4 pupil at The Minster Junior School, Alex Mowbray, year 4, Oliwia Wrorowska, year 5 and Naomi-Laura Segawa, year 6, all from Howard Primary School. These will be appearing on the borough’s BigBelly street bins.
