The Cricketers pub could soon be open once again
A popular East Croydon pub may be back up and running sooner rather than later.
The Cricketers in Addiscombe Road has been closed since June 7, but a note on the door was spotted that gave good news to the pub’s regulars
The note read “new people are taking over the Enterprise lease and I understand they will re-open shortly thereafter.”
Adding to the belief that the pub will soon be open is the fact that the establishment, which was up for sale on RightMove, has been sold subject to contract.
The real estate company’s website says that the three-bedroom pub was sold for £42,500.
What the pub will be after it's re-opening is still unknown.
