A driver disappeared after his car collided with a bus in St Paul’s Cray, leaving his car behind.
London Ambulance Service and police were called to the crash between a car and a bus around 10.15pm yesterday, June 13.
Officers arrived at the wreckage of the car in Chipperfield Road, near the junction with St Peter’s Lane but found the male driver of the car had fled the scene before police arrived.
A police helicopter was deployed as officers searched for the driver, but said they could not locate him.
He is described as white, about 5ft10ins, of slim build, and was wearing grey tracksuit and white trainers.
