A crash between two tankers and a lorry on the M25 ripped the cab off the truck involved.
The crash occurred around 6.50pm on the M25 by the Dartford crossing yesterday, June 6, blocking all four lanes on the motorway clockwise.
Scott Jackson, who saw the wreckage, said: “You can see the cab of one trucks ripped off. It's not pretty but let's hope they all walked away.”
Oil had spilled out onto the road and smoke was billowing from one of the tankers.
Three engines from Kent Fire Brigade sprayed foam to prevent a fire from breaking out and gave oxygen to a man caught in the crash.
Nobody was trapped in the vehicles when the crash occurred but one man had to be taken to hospital.
The road was reopened around 11.30pm.
