A rooftop cinema experience with a difference is coming to Croydon this summer.

To celebrate the 20th anniversary of cult classic Dirty Dancing and the opening of the cinema at Centrale and Whitgift special themed dance lessons will be held before the first screening.

As well as Dirty Dancing, on Saturday, June 10, the rooftop cinema will also be showing blockbusters including La La Land, Pulp Fiction, The Goonies, The Big Lebowski and Top Gun.

General Manager at Centrale, David Ordman, comments: "We're absolutely thrilled to offer our customers a trip to the flicks with a difference!

"We've partnered with Lost Format Society to screen some of the best films on our rooftop and can't wait to see customers fully immerse themselves with the Dirty Dancing themed dance lessons."

The rooftop bar will be open Wednesday to Saturday, from 5pm to 11:30pm.

Bobski's Kitchen will also be offering homemade jerk cuisine, alongside a selection of cakes, bakes and juices.

Cinema goers will be given wireless headphones for disturbance-free enjoyment, and deckchairs and blankets to nestle up in under the stars.
