A woman who fell from burning building in Thamesmead is in hospital fighting for her life.
Three fire engines and around 14 firefighters were called to a block of flats in Poplar Place yesterday.
A 57-year-old woman was taken to hospital after sustaining life-threatening injuries when she fell from the building, police say.
Half of a one bedroom flat on the second floor was damaged by the blaze which started at about 5.18pm.

Firefighters from Plumstead, Erith and Bexley were sent to the scene and it was under control by 6.15pm.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
