A video of a teenager being beaten up has been circulating social media.
Police were made aware of an incident on May 19 where a boy was beaten up at Bernard's Heath Recreation Ground in St Albans.
The recording, which was posted on Facebook and received thousands of views, appears to show a group of teenage boys assaulting the teenager.
The video is being examined by Herts Police.
Rebecca Choules, on behalf of Herts Police, said: "Those involved in the incident have been identified and will be interviewed over the coming days.
"Officers are working with the schools and parents of those involved to determine what action is to be taken."
