The All England Tennis Club has said it will ensure security plans for the Championships are proportional to the increased threat level in the UK.
The Wimbledon tennis tournament, which is celebrating its 140th anniversary this year, starts on Monday, July 3.
The terror threat level across the UK was increased to "critical" after a suicide bomber killed 22 people, including children, in Manchester on Monday.
A spokesperson for the club said: "The safety and security of all our visitors is of paramount importance. Throughout the year, the AELTC works closely with the Metropolitan Police Service and other relevant organisations to ensure that The Championships are as secure as possible and that our plans are commensurate with the existing threat level in London and the UK. We will take any appropriate measures to ensure the safety of the whole Championships.”
