An injured man was found on a grass verge near the Sun in the Sands roundabout in Greenwich.
Police were called to the roadside of the A2 at 5.52am today (Saturday, May 13), and found a man in his 40s injured on a grass verge.
He was taken to hospital with injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening.
Detectives from Greenwich CID are investigating how the man sustained his injuries.

No arrests have been made, a Metropolitan Police spokesman confirmed.
