A serving police officer has been cleared of attempted rape.
PC James McKibbin, a Metropolitan Police officer based in Richmond, was found not guilty on May 8, following a five-day trial at Southwark Crown Court.
The attempted rape was alleged to have taken place in South Croydon in 2012.
PC McKibbin remains on restricted duties pending an ongoing misconduct process.
