A cocktail bar and restaurant deemed an "urban oasis" has come to Battersea.

Little Bird, the fifth venture from west London restaurateur Lorraine Angliss, serves Asian-infused dishes with a Mediterranean twist.

The bar’s design features "bright and striking prints, hanging foliage and large palms", with images of birds scattered around the walls.

Customers can sit in a front terrace "brimming with lush plants" or an open-air courtyard providing "an urban garden retreat" to soak up the sun or gaze at the stars.

The cocktail menu was created by renowned mixologist Benji Purslow who is the UK Ambassador for Four Roses Bourbon and has travelled extensively, winning the highest bartender accolades.

The menu is prepared by Head Chef, Ricardo Villar, who comes to the project from The Petersham Hotel.

Lorraine said: "We are delighted to be opening Little Bird in Battersea this summer, our aim is to bring some stylish fun to the area."

Little bird is located at 1 Battersea Rise and open Monday to Friday from 5pm and Saturday and Sunday from 12pm.
